Roman Mode is OFFS3TD's built-in high-contrast accessibility mode — designed to make the site clearer, easier to read, and more comfortable for everyone.
Who it's for
- ▸ ADHD & focus difficulties — higher contrast reduces visual noise and keeps your attention on what matters.
- ▸ Dyslexia — bold, high-contrast typography is significantly easier to track across the page.
- ▸ Visual processing differences — removing subtle colour gradients reduces cognitive load.
- ▸ Light sensitivity & eye strain — the reinforced dark palette is easier on your eyes in low-light environments.
- ▸ Anyone who just prefers it — you don't need a diagnosis. If it works better for you, use it.
Why we built it
OFFS3TD is a community-first brand. Our community includes parents from Earnshaw College and MSA Mitchelton — schools with strong neurodivergent communities. We wanted to make sure our site works for everyone in that community, not just people whose brains process information the same way.
Neurodiversity is not a limitation — it's a different operating system. Roman Mode is our way of making sure the UI speaks yours.
How to toggle Find the ROMAN MODE button in the top navigation bar — it's always there, on every page.
